Leaders of the Cox’s Bazar District and Ukhiya Upazila committees of Bangladesh Bouddha Juba Parishad paid a courtesy visit to the organization’s National Vice Chairman, Rotarian Sajib Barua Diamond, and Chattogram Committee Vice Chairman, Bulbul Barua, during their visit to Cox’s Bazar. The courtesy meeting and exchange of views took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere at the renowned Hotel Swapnil Sindhu in Cox’s Bazar.
Among those present at the meeting were Cox’s Bazar District Committee President Shipon Barua, Ukhiya Upazila Committee General Secretary Madhu Barua, Welfare Affairs Secretary Shipon Barua, Assistant Welfare Affairs Secretary Suresh Barua, Technology Affairs Secretary Shimul Barua Unone, Assistant Technology Affairs Secretary Shuvro Barua Babu, Children and Youth Affairs Secretary Dalim Barua, and Executive Member Kakon Barua.
During the meeting, Rotarian Sajib Barua Diamond expressed his satisfaction with the activities of the Ukhiya Upazila branch and highly appreciated its ongoing initiatives. He also emphasized the importance of making the organization’s activities more dynamic and time-oriented. He called upon the youth to uphold humanitarian, moral, and religious values and to actively participate in social development activities.
He stated that the Buddhist youth community should work in unity to spread the ideals and activities of the organization to the grassroots level. The leaders also discussed the organization’s future plans, expansion of technology-based activities, and various social service initiatives during the exchange of views. At the end of the meeting, the National and Chattogram Committee Vice Chairmen wished everyone good health and a long life.
